SAR Figure of 8 with ears

The SAR Figure of 8 with Ears has been improved by the addition of the ears as opposed to the traditional figure of 8. This helps prevent the accidental rolling of the rope into a locked position.

Due o the rope twisiting it is not recommended for use with rope that comes straight out of a bag.

SAR Strogly recommend that the figure of 8 is used as a safety back up e.g. a Prussic loop or a rocker.
